You can register for a tournament in person at the club or park office, or online in advance.

LPCC recommends you pre-register online to avoid the rush. You will already be paired even if you come a little late for the first round. Pre-registering also helps the TD get the first round started on time.

In Person

Register in person by printing and filling out this form. Pay using cash, check or credit card at the park office. Or, pay at the club using cash or check.

Advance Pre-Registration

The City of La Palma's online pre-pay class registration site is here. Note, there is a small processing fee to register online.

You can browse for chess events the "Classes" tab without logging into an account, but you cannot pre-register without logging in. To see a list of LPCC events, enter "chess" or an "Activity number" in the search box.

The Activity code number for the current session is on the Current Schedule & Fees page. The Activity code number for the current tournament is also found on the Current Schedule & Fees page.

New Accounts

To establish a new account with the City, click on the "Create an Account" link here. When you complete the new account registration form, the City will email your account's contact login name (your email) within minutes. The City also asks you to click on a link to activate your account. If you have trouble creating a new account, contact the City at 714.690.3350 or Recreation@CityofLaPalma.org
