One $45 entry fee entitles you to play in a 4-month tournament session. $5 discount for La Palma residents.

Tournament Details
Chess One of Those Things
A 4-round Swiss in two sections.
Sections:
“Section One” for those with ratings over 1630 and “Section Two” for those under
1630 plus unrateds. If you are rated exactly 1630, you may choose your
section.
Prizes:
Both Sections:
1st Place each section, $35
2nd Place each section, $25
3rd Place each section, $15
Section One: Best under 2000, 1900, and 1800, $15 each
Section Two: Best under 1600,1400, and 1200, $15 each
Time controls: Game/120.
Byes: ?
A 7-round Swiss in one section.
Prizes:
$$100 first place and 2007 Club Champion title.
$$50 2nd place.
Class Prizes: trophies to best U1700, U1500, and U1300
Best game prize as judged by IM Jack Peters, $50.
Time controls: Game/120.
Byes: Two half-point byes may be taken. An irrevocable last round half-point bye is allowed only if declared before the first round starts.

A 4-round Swiss in one open section. Open Accelerated Pairings
(1st round only)
Prizes: Trophies for 1st Place, U1900, U1800, U1700, U1600, U1500, U1400,
U1300, and U1200.
