Spring Session 2012 (April 6 through June 15, 2012)
Entry Fee
$45 for the Spring session (includes both tournaments), $40 for the Club Championship and $20 for the School’s Out Chess Mania. All fees $5 less for players under 18 or La Palma residents.

Tournament Details
Club Championship
A 7–round Swiss in one section.
Registration: 6-7 p.m. Rounds start at 7 p.m.
Prizes: $300 1st place and club champion title, $150 2nd place, and $50 3rd place. Trophies for Best Under 1700, Best Under 1500, and largest rating gain. $25 $45 best game prize as judged by IM Jack Peters.
Time control: Game/120.
Byes: Two half-point byes may be taken. An irrevocable last round
half-point bye is allowed only if declared before the first round starts.
School’s Out Chess Mania
4-round Swiss in two sections.
Registration: 6-7 p.m. Rounds start at 7 p.m.
Prizes:
1st place upper section: $50
1st place lower section: $50 Trophies for best under 1500, largest rating gain
Best game: $20
Time control: Game/120
Byes: None.
